24th Annual Shop With a Cop

During this season of giving, the Round Lake Park Police Department made every effort to continue our  24th annual “Shop with a Cop” program.

Though a challenging year in many ways, the Police Department wanted to make sure the Shop with a Cop tradition was uninterrupted.

Thanks to generous donations from the Round Lake Area Exchange Club and the American Legion Post 1170 and private donors, several Round Lake Park families were chosen to participate. Families were nominated by Round Lake Park Police Officers and our local school district.

After shopping for the families, officers wrapped presents and will be delivering them on Christmas Eve, ensuring at least some children have a gifts to open this holiday season.
