The Round Lake Park Police Department is committed to being open and accountable as we strive to provide a safe and secure community through procedurally-just police practices. The Round Lake Park Police Department maintains a written system of policies which set forth standards, values and expectations of the Police Department.
The written directive system is comprehensive and reviewed and updated regularly by the Police Department staff in consultation with subject matter experts. The written policy system is based on nationally established best practices, as well as Sate and Federal law. From time to time these polcies are updated.
