During this national health crises the Round Lake Park Police Department has made changes to insure the safety of our officers without compromising public safety. We have recently implemented a modified sex offender registration system.
A Self-Service Solution to Expedite Re-registration
OffenderWatch Express Check-In cuts processing time of re-registration and address updates to a fraction of what it is today by allowing offenders to pre-enter certain data before appearing in front of an officer.
Key Benefits
The process saves time and reduces in-person contact – Officers save time editing records by having registrants update information online ahead of the in-person interview. Registrants save time waiting in the lobby, receive a reminder of their next verification/re-registration date, and can print a receipt to bring to the registering agency when they appear in person.
Officers will receive proactive alerts – Officers receive messages when a registrant has submitted updates for his/her file.
This expedited system maintains registry integrity and security – Officers can view the list of submitted registration updates that are pending. After an officer has reviewed the submission and accepts it, the update is applied to the record in registry database.

Registration will occur in our lobby where officers will be protected by a glass barrier during the registration process.
OffenderWatch is the only sex offender registry management tool that generates alerts across jurisdictions based on an offender’s home, work, or school address, which further promotes collaboration among agencies on a single offender record.
