Suspects in Auto Thefts/Vehicle Burglaries/Robberies Arrested

On Tuesday nine juveniles were taken into custody and brought in for questioning after Round Lake Beach officers located stolen vehicles parked in a complex in their jurisdiction.

Indications are that that these suspects were involved in multiple crimes including auto theft, burglaries and thefts from vehicles in numerous jurisdictions. A 17-year-old was charged with armed robbery, armed violence and mob action, and a 16-year was charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding, possession of a stolen vehicle, armed robbery, armed violence and mob action, related to an incident that occurred in Wauconda.

Residents are strongly encouraged to lock their vehicles, not leave valuables, personal information or keys in your cars.
