Welcome to our latest lateral transfer Officer Tim Mistven.

Tim recently retired from the Round Lake Beach Police Department after 20 years of service. Tim achieved the rank of Sergeant, was officer of the year twice, a highly decorated police veteran who is a tactical expert. Tim served on the NIPAS Emergency Services Team receiving numerous awards. Tim is also a SWAT instructor, defensive tactics specialist, less lethal master instructor etc.

Tim served in the United States Marine Corp for 6 years, participating in both Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Tim completed Army Ranger Training as well as other military training. Tim is also a decorated combat marine.

We’re proud to have him as part of our police family.
