On Tuesday nine juveniles were taken into custody and brought in for questioning after Round Lake Beach officers located stolen vehicles parked in a complex in their jurisdiction. Unemployment Debit Card Fraud
Over the past few weeks we’ve taken several reports from multiple people who have received unemployment benefits even though they never applied for them. Scammers are applying for the IDES benefits and seem to be using personal information from victims obtained from phishing scams or previous unrelated data breaches. Restore Illinois Phase-4
Illinois will be moving into Phase 4 on Friday June 26, 2020. Restaurants across the state are set to open for indoor dining Friday among other additions to allowable activities under the state’s Restore Illinois plan.
