Abandoned Bicycle Partnership

The Round Lake Park Police Department has partnered with Working Bikes a Chicago area based non for profit organization, to insure unclaimed/abandoned bicycles that we recover are distributed to those in need.  Countless bicycles are discarded or sit unused in garages in the United States every year. Veterans Honored

Murphy School Honors Veterans John J. Murphy school honored veterans during an assembly held on Friday November 8th. Several veterans were in attendance during the all school assembly. Our very own Officer Tim Mitsven was the keynote speaker. Tim served as a Marine for six years participating in Operation Desert Shield. Less Lethal Shotguns

A recent incident involving a suicidal subject armed with a knife resulted in disarming the individual with less lethal weapons preventing the use of deadly force. The Law & Sex Offenders – Halloween

Registered sex offenders are prohibited from passing out candy on Halloween.
