During this season of giving, the Round Lake Park Police Department made every effort to continue our 24th annual “Shop with a Cop” program. Suspects in Auto Thefts/Vehicle Burglaries/Robberies Arrested
On Tuesday nine juveniles were taken into custody and brought in for questioning after Round Lake Beach officers located stolen vehicles parked in a complex in their jurisdiction. Indications are that that these suspects were involved in multiple crimes including auto theft, burglaries and thefts from vehicles in numerous jurisdictions. Congratulations to Officer Randy Reuter who’s is retiring September 1st after 30 years of distinguished service. Randy’s career included assignments with the MEG, a regional narcotics intervention unit, the Lake County Major Crime Task Force, Field Training Officer and Senior Evidence Technician.
