Telephone Scam Alert
An individual claiming to be an FBI agent contacted a resident informing him that a vehicle had been rented in his name in Texas. The caller went on to say that the vehicle was involved in a drug transaction. The “FBI” agent informed the caller that in order to clear his name he would need to provide him with $3,550 in gift cards.
