Less Lethal Shotguns

A recent incident involving a suicidal subject armed with a knife resulted in disarming the individual with less lethal weapons preventing the use of deadly force. Reward For Information in Homicide

One Dead Three Wounded

Man with a knife subdued

BY MICK ZAWISLAK (MZAWISLAK@DAILYHERALD.COM) An encounter Friday afternoon with a suicidal man who approached police in Round Lake Park with a knife and asked to be shot was defused without injury. RLPPD Awarded Bullet Proof Vest Grant

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) informed our agency that we will receive an award under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) solicitation.
